Surefire M6 evolution and markings

I keep thinking of getting an M6. They look really nice and seem like a great light with lots of variations on mods available.

My question is: What is the evolution of the light and/or the markings on it. Has it changed dimensionally or feature wise through time, or just the etched markings?

I know there are crenelated bezels and smooth(er) bezels. Are those the only two physical differences?

Markings I've seen include:

- Millennium Special Operations Series
M6 Guardian

- Millennium Series
M6

- Millennium Series
M6 Magnum Light

Any others, and what is their significance?

I think that "Millennium" was misspelled at one point ....

My M6 (first generation, SN 00089) has "Magnumlight" spelled "Magnumtlight."

I think Dimerazorback has one of those rare magnumtlight's as well mike..although I haven't seen him on here lately
