I currently have a minimus and apex. I had a zebralight (1aa) that was ok when it worked. I won't owne another one after that.

What I want
High quality
Warrantee (think surefire)
Bright, mostley flood light (warm white?)
Usable run time ~2 hours
1xCr123

less than ~$250

Looking for surefire vision? anything else out there?

If I had your specifications, it'd definitely be the SF Vision.

You could also check out the Sparks.

Zebralight is on my list.. I usually give highly rated products two tries.. you may have got a Friday 4:50 light.

My issue was not so much that the light failed, but the lack of warranty.
