Any update to the Kroll switch?

Kroll switch had being around maybe 12 years or so. Around 8 years ago, Streamlight implemented a metal Kroll into their light. Has anyone heard of a newer version of Kroll? I believe the old Kroll was rated at 1 amp @ 3 volt. Has anyone heard of a newer Kroll that can handle more power?

Maybe check with the Malkoff Site. I think he may still uses them in some of his switches.

Gene had some improved Kroll switches, less resistance, that he used in his first series 2XCR123 bodies.
