Mondo Motors mm12 LED for vehicle reverse light?

Well I was browsing around some ATV forums and found this LED. Might make a good 4x4 vehicle reverse light - not too pricey and illumination appears ok. Unfortunately the ATV thread has mostly pics of the lights mounted on motorcycles, but not many beamshots. I'll see if I can get some fellows to post up some beamshots on the ATV forum. I don't want to spend too much on reverse lights, but these might be good enough for reverse lighting on forest trails, etc., when turning a truck around at night.

Which vehicle - ATV or road vehicle?

For use on trails or public roads?

Which country and/or state?

It would be for offroad application only, on a full-size pickup or a Suzuki Samurai. I might set it up so I could move the lights between the two vehicles as needed. Factory reverse lights for road/street use and the LED's would be on a seperate circuit. I'm in Canada.

Well they're cheap enough to give a try. Reverse lights, camp lights, rock lights ---- it's nice to see what the heck kind of slop you've gotten yourself into at night on the trail.
