Hello to all.

First time posting on here.

My question is can anyone help me with information on automatically dimming fluorescent tubes.

I have a light bar for a large fish tank which recently blew its ballast so had to be cut open to replace the broken ballast.

The ballasts i found have the option of being dimmed using the DALI system.

I decided to add an extra ballast and 2 more tubes while i was inside it and added some small fans for cooling

Is there a way to slowly dim these ballasts to replicate dawn/dusk.

I think i will need to find some sort of DALI dimming controller and some sort of timer unit or control it with a PC

Despite searching Google for all of this i am still none the wiser as to how to do it

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Any help would be gratefully received.
