Woulnt touch a circuit on that can. If you mod simple flashlights worst case scenario is you poof some circuits and some money. If its real bad maybe you burn a finger. That trash can thing you may :poof:

yourself to death!

Pretty cool though.

My best friend and I have been planing to build a search light using the same idea of a welder as the power supply and a second hand 1800 watt arc lamp from the local cinema, we weren't sure if it would work.

Now I know.

A TIG welder with a high voltage starting spark and constant high amp welding current might do the same thing.
