Does anyone know of an NIR LED brighter than the SFH 4450 (in terms of mW/str)?

I'm would like to generate as bright and as small a spot as possible with an NIR (~850nm) LED. As far as I can tell, the SFH 4450 seems to be the best choice, but it is unfortunately still a little too dim for my application.

It would be great if any of you LED gurus could point me to a superior choice. Thanks!

What you are looking for (and what you have found, but in 1300nm flavor) is a laser diode. But I think in the end you are looking for an IR laser pointer or flashlight?

Thanks for the suggestion but an IR laser diode is not going to work for me. First, I really need an LED since my application is sensitive to coherent noise (i.e. speckle) from lasers. Second, I need something in the NIR range (somewhere around 800-900 nm). Sorry, I should have been more specific.
