    Post Detailed review of Soshine SC-S1 Mix V3 ?

    Hi all,

    I have been trawling the internet and CPF forums now for over 2 weeks about flashlights, chargers and batteries in general. I am trying to find a detailed review of the Soshine SC-S1 Mix V3 charger. There are some older reviews posted back in 2008 and 2009, however these are not the V3 but older V1 and V2 versions (which have got mixed reviews). These Soshine chargers are so common and easy to buy I would have thought an in depth review is out there somewhere. Some of the Soshine charger are good with some minor flaws in the various reviews out there eg Soshine SC-S2 Max.
    The SC-S1 Mix seems to have adequate charging current for larger 18650 batteries (1A) (although a bit slow for 3000+ mAH batteries) and safe current for longevity (300mA) of smaller batteries eg 10440.
    From the specs it has CC/CV charging, temp montioring, and timer shut off function which is great. The only issue is manufactures spec aren't always true!! So it would be great to see a detailed review. For instance is the charging profile truely CC/CV, at what voltage does CV start in the charging cycle (4.1V or 4.2V or some where inbetween), is the termination current truely at 1/10C, does it shut off current completely or just do crappy trickle charge, does the current drop when charing 2 cell of the same size, does it have a slow ramp current to reset protection of cells etc.
    I have checked out HKJ's excellent review site, Mdocod's great charger reviews and read through every post of CPF under "Soshine SC-S1 mix" without any luck.

    Does any one know where I can find this information out ?
