Need bulbs that will work with photocell / dawn dusk

Have four CFL lights for the front of the house that would be great except that they keep knocking the 2-wire photocell out of commission. I was wondering, would I be able to use a dimmable LED? I hate to have to put the incandescent bulbs back in.

I'd never use an ordinary non-dimmable CFL with a photocell control,
which is like using it with a dimmer i.e. triac control; but I guess you've
found that out.

Your should be able to use a dimmable LED bulb. I've just tried this
combo and seems OK.
