Anyone know about Fenix releasing an updated LED?

I'd already be happy if they'd make an HP-11 with an XM-L. I think this would be a splendid headlamp with a wider beam, more output and the same runtimes. Man how I'd love to have a headlamp like this!

I don't know more than what I asked. I talked with an authorized Fenix dealer about getting the PD32 light in place of my LD22. He stated if I could wait another two weeks or so, Fenix would be putting out an updated PD32 with even brighter emitter, or however you want to call it. I have no idea what models will be updated or what the new specs are. I am sure there are experts on this site that would have an idea as to what emitter could be put in the lights that would be more efficient than the one currently used. I got my LD22 through REI, so I will have to do my upgrade to the PD32 through them. I am sure it will be a while before a store like REI has the updated lights.

Higher binned emitter of the same type provides increased efficiency over low bins.

In layman's terms, you get a slightly increased brightness.
