I have the fiskars (bright orange) version of this saw
i have used it pruning small branches (up to 2") out in the forest, and even for trimming pine boards when i built my workbench

It has a permanent place in my car tool/recovery kit, but i take it out and attach it to my photographic vest when im out in the forest

Its small, light and cuts wonderfully - if i used it often enough i would buy a spare

I've bought mine some three years ago and afterwards I've got the orange/black version, also branded Bahco, as a spare. Along with Mora and Falkniven knives, Laplander saw is a frequent choice of bushcrafters in Europe. AFAIK it has anti-friction blade coating and XT bidirectional teeth, cuts like nothing I've used before and also keeps sharpness well. Very lightweight and practical, even outperforms some larger, "serious" pruning saws. I wonder if you've noticed NATO order code on the packaging. At present it sits in my outdoor kit, along with Fallkniven F1 (VG10 lam.) and Mora Clipper 860MG knives.

Cheers
