Default SOLD: SWM V10R Ti with Ku and jhanko mods...

I've got a SWM V10R with the following mods:

    18650 Kuku Battery tube
Kuku Three trit e-switch (installed on 18650 body w/three icy blue trits)
jhanko slotted and crenulated bezel (five trit slots but empty)
Kuku twelve slot trit cooling ring (3 yellow and 3 icy blue)
Also includes original bezel and a Ti clip for the 18650 body.

I've filled the inner part of the tritium slots on the JHanko bezel with Norland so as to prevent dust from accumulating there. I can remove that if you prefer. All you need to do is add trits and cure as normal. I have not locked the threads of the Ku cooling fin with Locktite or Permatex so you'll need to do that after you decide on what you'd like the tritium configuration to be.

I'll take $535 Sold for the whole package. Sales outside the USA are at your risk and expense.

I'm not really interested in parting it out at this time.

Australia should be a safe place to send it to. Was going to make and offer, but I'll take the package if you are happy to ship it this way for $665. Don't remember if we have dealt directly, but we did have some earlier conversations I think.

BTW, is this a soft start (later generation) V10R?

Subjectively, it seems as if the beam comes up to full brightness over some fraction of a second. I would guess it is a softstart version. Is there a better way to tell for sure?

Turn the ring to the far right (for full brightness), turn on. It should be instant on.
Then turn the ring down until the light Begins to dim ever so slightly. Turn the torch off.
Now turn it on, and compare to see if it still turns on instantly, or has a 1/4 second ish turn on time.
Compare this to the full right position again.

Although the difference is small, it should be a fairly visible difference between the two when compared in this way.

You mentioned the need to thread lock the head back together, is this for practical reasons, or does the ring bind when you tighten the head components together? Only concerns relate to the presence of the aluminium spacer which is deep within the head, and easily missed/lost when disassembling the light. My V10Rs close down with perfect ring tolerance when the excess thread lock is removed and the ring installed correctly, while ones missing the ring bind heavily and cannot be tightened.

I'll check out the power on when I get home tonight more in depth...

I still have the aluminum spacer. I may not have reassembled the light correctly as I wasn't sure where it went when I put the head back together. When tightened fully (but assembled incorrectly?) the head binds onto the control ring. I'll investigate the proper reassembly..

Oh and forgot to ask a very important question of how low the low goes! "bright" would be equivalent to a HDS 0.08L

After examining the light I'm nearly positive it's the soft start version. I've also repositioned the aluminum ring and found a tension where the head can be unscrewed without twisting at the cooling ring (as it should be). I would probably add a tiny bit of the lowest tackiness Permatex but to each their own. It also has a nice low-low.. about the same brightness as the "V10R Ti XP-G 5B 18650".. I hope that answers any questions.. Let me know if there's anything else.

    This package is still available...

OtisCampbell has been great to work with, but with this sale, the international shipping can be quite significant, so the package is still up for grabs.
