If you really want one of these, cancel your plans, and refresh refresh refresh. It'll be worth it, promise! The wife will get over it eventually.

Dan - any chance of seeing a neutral XPG2 on one of the E1e's?

That would seriously float my boat as one of the coolest lights I've ever owned.

Wow it was there for that long?! When I saw it had 40+ views I knew it was only a matter of time. I'm surprised it lasted that long considering how much it's sought after!

I think Dan mentioned somewhere that the current neutrals look too much on the cooler side, so they're waiting for more neutrals that look more neutral.

But yeah, I'd rather have neutral too, I just couldn't pass up on having one already.

Samurai is correct. Additional LEDs won't be available until the next set of engines is ready (which haven't been started). At a standard production pace, E1's are going to be built out before we 'build through' the current engine set. To make it work, we would need to slow/hold E1 production long enough for those boards to come available.

Dan - anymore to be released today? Just got off a 13 hour shift and have another one tomorrow and I don't think my patients or their families would understand me not being there for surgeries tomorrow.

Talk about blind luck. Just took a break from work, and checked the site. Snagged one. Now there's one left. Probably already gone.

    *Edit. Yup. Gone.

Hey, EG. Is it possible to have my Triple E2e have a Titanium Tail Shroud instead of the copper one?

Yeah, I haven't been rabidly pressing F5 at all today. Just randomly checking the site now and then.

Total blind luck that I got one. I guess it was meant to be.

Many thanks Dan! I got the second one after Edwood. My counterparts in China are going to love this bad boy when I hit Ghengdu for a conference mission. Now excuse my ignorance ladies and gents but what is the best battery setup for this E2E? I'll need to give Dan some more money. I can unzip you and take parts out and stitch you back up again but can't tell for the life of me tell you which rechargable batteries are the right ones to do the job.

2x IMR 18350 will give you the full monty at 1600 lumens..

1x IMR 18650 will give nice longer runtime at lower level, 1200lumens? I think?

For max output, go with 2x18350 (showing off). For max runtime, go with the 18650/3100 (practical).

Edit: yes, 1200 (25C/emitter) lumens on one cell. Plus Pila or 139 (with spacers for either).

    U have a high octane option- 2x18350

    Or a 87 regular option- 1x18650

Thanks gentlemen. I have 4 of the 18350's in Dans cart but may opt for the longer run time, lower octane 18650. What the h***! Maybe I'll just get both.
