can that be driven with a taskled driver like H6CC?

I would suggest putting the led directly on the aluminum of which the housing is made to get direct contact with the water. I mean, instead of taking a host and adding a slip fit heatsink.
I haven't seen this LED passing here on the dive light forum, so not sure if anyone here has any experience with this one. I think several tried some lower power versions.

$5k euro! OMG!

To be honest it looks like quite a simple build. But The LED array does not seem all that efficient.

Using XML's could be a better option. Dual light heads each with 3x3 XML's would give you close to 20,000 lumen and less than 200 watt.
