E1 reflector removal?

I just picked up a gunmetal E1 today. I can't seem to figure out how to get the reflector out to so I can mod it [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] After seeing some of McGizmo's lights last night at the get together, I need to mod something.

Unfortunately, the reflector in the E1 (and any other E series) head is intergral to the bezel. Meaning it is actually the same piece of metal. Removing it will be very difficult.

hmm, I was afraid of that, looks like I am going to have to machine from the back of the bezel.

The E1 SG is a one piece head. It appears the E1E HA head has a removable bezel. The reflector & the back of the head are still apparently one piece. (I may be wrong. I haven't disassembled mine. Yet. :-) )
