I got a pile of batteries in one envelope, not the best way to ship batteries, even when they are shrink wrapped. Efest have changed their packing.

Conclusion

These IMR batteries can handle high loads, but has a slight difference in capacity, i.e. care must be taken not to run one battery down.
I will rate them as acceptable.

Thank you so much for all this effort HKJ. Being able to read such a review before buying a battery is so reassuring, so comforting! And this is not the first time that I have read your outstanding review, prior to buying a battery. In fact, I never buy batteries before checking what you have said about them.

A couple of the button top versions of these batteries are on their way towards me, as is a Niteye EYE 10 TIC which they will power alternately. I already have a Nitecore Intellicharger i4 V2, again thanks to your excellent review:

As far as I understand, if I charge only one of these batteries in the above mentioned charger, the charging current would be too high so the best course of action would be charging both batteries simultaneously, in slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4. Is this correct? Thank you.

The charger is at the limit for LiCoO2 (ICR) 16340 batteries, IMR can usual take higher charge current, i.e. you can charge one at a time.
But it will probably increase the life of the battery, if you charge two at a time.
