With the new XML2 coming out very soon, I'd suspect we'll see a lot of 3000+ lumen triples coming out from many new makers.

I'd wait for them to come out, if you want the most for your money.

I´ve seen it as well! I hope that we will se a real thrower with 3XML diods more powerfull with better throw and spill than the TK75 and that does not step down in effect after 20 minutes of use in the turbo mode. Hope that it will also has a built in magazine for 18650 batteries with a port for a charger, so that one does not has to disassemble each battery at a time in order to reload it.

This might be at thrower monster! Hope to hear about it soon,as well as other news from Fenix!

Now are we talking about NEW lights or upgraded versions of existing lights (such as the TK70 and TK75)?

Don't think the RC15 will be 3000lumens -RC15 will be just a upgrade of the RC10

    Fair enough.

Just thinking too. If they changed the TK75 to be an XML 2 it will obviously be slightly better but say 3000L vs 2600 with the same reflectors, I honestly don't think that most people would be able to tell the difference?? Guessing too that this means more heat even if driven the same with the higher output bin? Hopefully runtime is improved too at the same time as the main benefit in this case then.
I mean won't it just be a case like the TK35 original vs the U2 model. Slightly better due to LED progress but not the end of the world if you bought the first version and you got to use it for 6 months too before the upgrade came out. It's winter over there for most of you so having a TK75 2600 now vs waiting till maybe summer to get the improved version would be pretty useful. I mean, you get these to use them right not just to show your friends you have a bright flashlight??!!

I agree, I don't think I'll be buying an upgraded tk75 since I already own the current one. If they put the XML2 into the TK70 I'd think about it

Yes that would be an upgrade to that one.
How about this for an idea.
Fenix sells the TK71 and TK76 both with new emitters, Neutral in the TK76 for spill and better colour rendition, CW in the TK71 for throw.
BUT, as the heads only as you specify or buy the battery parts as per your needs. So both heads can take the D cells handles or the 18650 cartridges?

I'm waiting for them or someone else to come out with a 3000 lumen single AAA light with no stepdown and run times on turbo of 1 hour at least and 100,000+ lux. Whats the holdup!?! (LOL)

Seriously I think we'll see more than one 3000 lumen light this year. I mean many lights are already in the high 2500-2700 lumen range, so whats another 300-500 lumens?

Fenix have 4 new lights in the pipeline that will be announced soon: 2 new RC lights (one of which will be 3000+ lumens) and 2 new headlamps.
They said that on their FB page.

3 x XML2 with a good stiff drive level will give over 3k lumens OTF. Probably around 3300 lumens.

We will see plenty of those coming up this year, I'm sure.

New RC lights should be the RC15 and RC40 what I've heard.

And the RC40 should have a charging-point in the tail.

    This sounds interesting!

I will definitely keep my eyes open for these lights! If there will be available a 3xXML2 flashlight with built in 18650 batteries(like the Olight Intimidator series) and a chargeport and that does not have any step down in effect feature, then i simply have to buy one!!! So far i don´t have any 3XML flashlight in my collection, but i realy want to add one.

If it´s true that there will be plenty of those 3XML2 lights coming this year, there´s got to be one that has the features that i want a flashlight to have!

I was close to pulling the trigger on the TK75, but now I think I'm going to wait a bit and see what this 3000+ lumen beast is all about.

Default Fenix 2013: 3000 Plus Lumens coming?

Someone just posted about the HL10. A single AAA headlamp with three modes, 3 lumen, 27 lumen and 70 lumen and mode memory. Most interesting it has 90 degree flood and can be used as a headlamp or a keychain light. Fenix seems to have upped its game and is giving customers what they want.

I am interested in high lumen lights as well and from past experience know Fenix can do good throwers and flood lights. Given the excellent customer service they provide through the UK distributor I will be ordering their high lumen and low lumen lights which suit my purposes.
