Looks like the back side of the adaptor has screw terminal connections. Buy the Anderson Connector shells and contacts and wire it up.

Hi All!

I need some help. Have any of you ever seen a temporary APP connector. I've got some for DC connectors but I would love to have some for some Andersons! Here's a link to what I'm looking for in a DC connector that I would like to get in an Anderson:

Thanks,

If you mean just wire them normally, yes that works but it makes it rather permanent. I was looking for something less permanent that I could test out a battery pack with (for example) then disassemble if it didn't work out correctly!

http://www.powerwerx.com/adapter-cables/euro-powerpole-adapter.html

I buy my APP connectors here, always had good service from them.

I'd just make my own, far cheaper, I always have 40A APPs on hand.
All the 12V gear Ham and other has them in this house, I've built up quite a number of adapter cables over the years.

That is just what I'm looking for but the price of $8.99US each is a little bit much. How do you make your own?

Thanks,

If you have the APC buy a screw terminal block from Radio Shack or similar and wire as per the picture.

Thanks Norm!

I'll pay a visit to Radio Shack this weekend and give it a try.

Thanks much!

Norm, I normally just get my Anderson connectors at Newark or Mouser. Tons of stock and tolerable shipping though not as cheap as Digikey. How is shipping?

Do you solder the connectors or do you have a proper Anderson crimper?

Yay! Another APP cable I didn't even know I needed. :D I had seen that adapter at Powerwerx a few months ago...but I didn't know what it was for. I use APPs for solar and emergency power.

I love this place.

Thanks for the info SemiMan.

I strip and tin the cable and then crimp with the proper Anderson crimper
