New Streamlight Stinger and Strion upgrades

The Lumen Wars continue...

Streamlight has announced upgrades to the Stinger and Strion:

Stinger HL: 640 Lumens/22,000 Candela

Strion HL: 500 Lumens/10,000 Candela

Probably both will use a XM-L, similar to the Pro-Tac HL.

You know, I have steered away from them for work because of the laser like beam and like something with a little bigger spot. I just picked up the SL20L and the hot spot is a little bigger but I do wish a little more. Throws like a demon though. I guess if they are in fact xml's I hope that opens up the beam profile some. But nevertheless they will probably get more of my money. The TLR series has been upgraded too, 600 something lumens. Super sweet.
