Peaks Neutral LEDs ? Experiences?

Any feedback on what Peak sends out as it's neutral and warm tinted lights?

I saw someone mentioned they bought a neutral Logan in another thread and I just had to have one (already have a CW, an Overready 219 and a warm high CRI). After a few days Peak Logan 17500 Neutral White arrived.

And it's Cool.

Really cool,

Cooler than a Malkoff M61 or even a Peak El Capitan Ultra X.

I was hoping it would be close to a 5B type tint (4000K) like the Zebra. Of course many call 5000K (3C) neutral so I was prepared to accept that. This puppy looks to be close to 7000K.

If I bother sending it back can I expect much better.

My Eiger neutral is around 4500-5000K, a bit more yellow than my 219 Eiger and most definately not as cool as my CW ElCap.

I'd say that is a CW.

Agreed. Send it back to Peak and they'll fix it for you.

Agreed, that is too bluish. Got a buddy an Eiger neutral and it looks about 5000K to me. Definitely NOT COOL, lol... :candle:

I have a Peak Logan Neutral that appears to be in the 4500-5000k range. I ordered it directly off of Peak's website. My Peak El Capitan Ultra X (XML) has a tint similar to a Malkoff M61.

This is a beam shot of my neutral elcap, its on the cooler side of neutral.

Question does yours have a N stamped onto the battery contact on the head?

NW vs Cool: There does appear to be a Kelvin overlap. NW=3700-5300; C=5000-8300.

Just got a Eiger pocket with the NW led and it's not cool at all, much warmer than your pics appear. Did you get it replaced?
