Hi all this is my first post i am in Australia and i was told to come her to try and find a good gun mountable light with plenty of throw and spot. The light that i am after will need to throw 200metres at a minimum and also have a lot of spill light to track roo on the move. Any help would be appreciated and price is not to much of a problem for the right light.
Regards
Daniel.

My suggestion will heap some expense on you and see ya get two modified lights.

Look up One Stop Throw Shop custom forum on here, check out the Nightmaster and TN31mb threads. I'll be getting one of each to shoot foxes here in Ireland.

I would not recommend a lot of spill on your gun mounted light. The spill reflecting off close objects makes for a lot of glare in your scope and makes it harder to see at a distance and makes your retical less distinct. A good aspheric light like Dereelight or One Stop Throw Shops modified lights work much better on your rifle. Save the wider light for a hand held scanning light then use an aspheric with pressure switch on the rifle to make the shot.
