Hi guys,
I have been working on the AA version of Piccolo, Flute Ti, for couple month now. Here are the photos and specs of Flute Ti.
Special thanks to Daniel(easilyled) for naming the light "Flute".
Spec
- Ti-6AL4V Titanium shell
- emitter: Nichia 219 92+ CRI
- brass light engine for maximum heatsink
- threaded aluminum OP reflector for maximum heatsink.
-sapphire glass window
- 2 stage driver: 10mA on low, and 400mA on high.
- twisty operation, like Piccolo, low first, high next.
- 7 vials of 1.5x6mm trits in the tail
- glow around the emitter, green, aqua, blue.
- battery installation with positive (+) toward the tail, and negative (-) toward the emitter.
- reverse polarity protection.
- battery: AA sized Alkaline, NiMH, Primary Lithium. (14500 Li-ion is not recommend)
- operation voltage - 0.9V - 1.8V
- dimension: 19mm x 81.5mm
Shipping Schedule
First batch will be shipped on April 26th. (first batch is full)
Second batch will be shipped on or about May 3rd.
The actual shipping date will depend on the tritium color availability. If the tritium color you ordered is out-of-stock, you can change the colors or wait for next tritium shipment (which takes about 20~40 days depending on tritium manufacture's production schedule.)
7 trits in the tail
6 trits around the tail, and 6 lanyard holes, and one trit in the center.
Price
Base Light: $245 each
1.5mm x 6mm trit: $8.5 each
Registered airmail $5 (up to two lights)
For example if you order one 7-trit Flute Ti,
Base light: $245
Trits: $8.5 x 7 vials
Shipping: $5
Total: $309.5

May 8 update:
Most of the 2nd batch lights are shipped. I am still waiting for the new tritium vials shipment to arrive. The remaining lights are expected to be shipped before May 16th.
