Looking for help. I have been using the Fenix 18650 in my TK35 because they performed well in tests. I have never tried the Aw 18650 2600's, but they will be easier to charge in my WP2 II charger. Which would perform better in this light? Thanks.

Just a question ... why are you considering 2600 mAh cells when AW offers 2900/3100/3400 versions? The difference in runtime between 2600 & 3400 is about 30%.

FWIW the 3400 cells are super fat due to a different (thicker) connection strip that runs up the side of the battery. If your TK35 bore measures .744" or larger you'll be fine with any of the cells.

I thought that too. What I understood from the battecy comparator is that good 2600 mAh batteries like the Fenix one kept the light brighter longer while the 3400 mAh offered longer runtimes.
Between a AW 2600 and 3400 there's a big difference in price too. If anything, the Eagletac would be closer to the price of an AW 2600!

I am using the Panasonic 18650 3400mah batteries in my TK35, they have a little tighter fit than some of my older 18650 batteries. They cost $16.71 for two from FastTach.
Also, they fit in my TK22, but not my TK21.

The 3400's that I've measured run .006" larger than any other AW battery. That tiny .15mm difference (the thickness of two pieces of printer paper) is enough to keep the cell from fitting in some lights.

I have been using the Tenergy 18650 batteries in my Fenix TK series lights with good performance. However, when searching the forums... I do not come across many people using the Tenergy brand. Why? As I await my arrival of the TK35 that I just ordered... I started to look at batteries again. Was planning on the Tenergy 2600, but came to the forums to see what is available with higher mAh for a higher powered light.

I use unprotected Panasonic NCR18650B, 3400mAh on my TK35 U2. Highest capacity, cheaper than any protected cells and fit perfectly. If you need protected version, I recommend Keeppower cells.

I use the tenergys and orbtronics. Both have performed excellently

I ended up getting the AW cells for the TK35, but will continue using the Tenergy's in the TK15's.
