luminox repair question

hi everyone,have a question for y'all
i sent my luminox out for simple repair to get the battery and gaskets replaced.i get a email today saying after the battery was replaced it ran for an hour then it quit and now there telling me the movement needs repair for $70 on top of the $35, is this normal or am I gettin the run around?

The Luminox battery is very easy to replace yourself if you have a proper case opener for screwbacks.

Sounds like there might be a small amount of fine dirt in the movement, either that or they could have possibly damaged the coil during the service and they arent owning up to it. If the watch was running fime before all this something has happened.

How long did the dead battery sit in the watch before you sent it out?
