Hi I purchased 2 replacement driver boards from deal extreme being http://dx.com/p/5v-8-4v-2000ma-3-mode-led-driver-board-162787 and http://dx.com/p/21-65mm-8-4v-1500ma-circuit-board-for-bike-light-sku-94182-82510-82734-more-166085. These driver boards were same physical size, electrical specs in terms of battery and output and were also inclusive of a clicky switch for the power on off as my old driver board. However they have different spots to connect the battery leads and am not sure where to put positive and negative. I have looked on internet forums, you tube video to no avail and have spent hours holding batteryleads onto different connection points which turn on light but do not let me go through hi low or flash or off. Has any one used these and can advise. Many thanks

Starting with the 2nd, the dX photo shows 2 pads on the side opposite to the clicky switch marked in+ and in- that is where the battery leads should be soldered.

Same with the 1st driver, except they appear to be labelled vdd & gnd

Thanks will try those positions. I had wanted to solder onto clicky switch side as that is where battery lead comes from in light assembly.
