Just wondering how the luxeon lottery affects different colors. As most of you may know, most Cyan luxeons, tend to have a high bin # (4,5,6) resuling in a color that looks like deep forest green.

My Question is: Has anyone got a 5W Blue (not royal blue) luxeon and it had a far off color bin, that when powered up, looked like true Cyan. The wavelength range overlaps between the colors... Just wondering what the typical blue "color" is, since cyan seems to be forest-green most of the time.

Note that forest-green color isn't like a true green luxeon, which looks more yellow-green in comparision. True Cyan should look like this color and doesn't look blue or green really. Perhaps more on the blue side, maybe like blue that looks washed out like white has been added.. Think tropical ocean color on a nice white beach... Nice aqua/teal color...

What's everyone's experience with plain BLUE luxeons???
