Is output any different? Is the main beam just swapping an XM-L2 for another XM-L2 of a different tint? Any current boost?

NO current boost. I just do Neutral as I feel that's the ideal EDC tint. Copper does help out with heat and brightness though. I am guessing 2.8-3A stock. Very bright.

What's the driver like in this thing? Does it use a single driver with two identical outputs, or different driving for different emitters?

Same circuitry but definitely different drive currents for each LED. All control via one switch. Very smart UI. They should have used a White LED with interchangeable color Lens. Big mistake IMO.
