Porus silicon structures and graphene. Both neat technologies that can be applied to li-ion batteries as well. I am developing a system with a similar style of energy storage but using a different ion. It is neat stuff.

Yes, very neat. If these developments pan out, maybe we can have more capacity in (or on) our devices. I don't know if you have heard of Volvo making body panels that also store electricity.
