I'd rather read an independent economic analysis than his media release...

Not saying it's a bad thing - just not enough meat in that blurb.

Hard to pick the economics out from all the cheer leading. I just hope they pick a good solid unit...

This is about as interesting as "The Sun came up today".

Not a jurisdiction in the world is not considering an LED upgrade. The only question is generally when, not if.

Is it just me, or does the sky look much darker in the second picture?

Same here. Remarkable photos. I wonder if it was due to a difference in the time the photos were taken? Or if there is so much less stray light with LED that there is a significant difference in light pollution?
