You will get many different answers to this, so ...
imho the B90 battery (= 3 * Sub-C cell) stick is more than crap now.
a 1 * 18650 Li-Ion driven light host with a P60 insert is "better" in everything one can think of
.. but thats just my opinion and it is You who have to decide what typical points a light / power source are of importance for You.

If the Stinger is $0.50 then yes....

Also, it would be worth it if you just REALLY like the Stinger. Others here might tell you that it would be better to get another light. But if there is any reason you like the Stinger above and beyond other lights (even if it is some sort of sentimental reason), you might as well go with the Stinger and a Malkoff drop-in.
