I recently forgot to fully screw down a lens and as would be expected the light flooded.
I got it to the surface, popped the battery and let it air dry for a week and wiped the surfaces with alcohol.
This was a Mag shell with an XM-L + LFlex + 32650 and a piezo.
After a recharge quick wipe down, it come right on like nothing happened.
Last week I too it diving, and after 60 seconds I'd get some quick flashes and it would turn off.
After reducing the current from 3A to 1A it worked for the reset of the dive.
Per LFlex documentation this would happen if voltage dropped too low.
Given that it was a freshly charge 32650 I doubted the battery was the issue.
So I finally ordered some DeoxIt and DeoxIt Shield, cleaned and applied the shield to every contact point in the light.
After disposing of 6 black q-tips, and reassembling the light, it's been burning bright for the last hour.
Can't say enough positive things about DeoxIt! It's going to be part of my regular maintenance kit going forward.
