Hello, newbie here, from France.
Ok. I poured concrete stairs outdoors leaving 50mm cylindrical holes on step sufaces to house LED lighting, all wired in series with 3x1.5mm copper wire. There will be twenty fixtures running for 30m. in total length.
Ideally, these recessed lights will illuminate towards the side wall with approximately 200lumens.
Given the price of commercial fixtures I plan to make my own with glass jars housing a LED bundle or bulb, with the connections sealed in silicone, all powered with one 220V.-12V. transformer.

These recesses will probably stay damp, and climate conditions are somewhat harsh -15C. to 35C.
My technical knowledge of LED lighting is limited, so all tips appreciated.
I need to know which type of bulb/transformer is suitable for this project and how the copper wire wil behave over such a distance.

Thanking you all in advance
Brian
