I had a flashlight flashback and I remember owning a flashlight that was powered by 3Ds and had a hinged reflector and motor that swept the bulb side to side greater FOV at night vs a standard beam.

Anyone know the name or have pics of this thing? It was a plastic light from a big box store.

My dad bought four of these a number of years ago and gave one to each of his sons for Christmas. Wow I took that thing hunting for a whole season but I can't remember the name of it. My dad doesn't throw anything out. Next time I'm at his house I will see if he still has it and report back.

I had one that I purchased at Sears a long time ago. There was a small motor that swung the bulb assembly left/right to widen the path of the beam.... Never used it much. It ate batteries and was noisy....
