Hello,

I have an old Wolf Eyes Raider flashlight I bought back in the 2007ish time frame.

I have since lost the charger for the original LRB-150A 3.7v 1400mAH wolfeyes rechargeable batteries.

Also, the batteries themselves are pretty old, and should probably be replaced.

So, I need some advice on what new rechargeable batteries to buy, and a new battery charger?

Your help would be appreciated.

I found this AW 18500 protected cell that is 3.7v 1500mAH.

Will it make a difference that the mAH is not exactly the same as the original factory batteries?

Also, will this charger work ok for the new AW batteries?

Thank you for your help. It is appreciated.

The batteries will be fine, I'd recommend you spend a few more dollars and buy a better charger.

Can you recommend one? Any particular brands to look for?

Thanks!

Check out the Nitecore Intellicharger i2 or i4 at Illumination Supply. They are good Li-Ion chargers that use a CC/CV charging algorithm, and can charge regular NiMH cells as well.

Link to HJK's excellent review here.
