SC600 Stock NW VS Eye40vn 7000L NW VS K40vn VS X60vn
Exposure stepped down to better differentiate throw potential
The X60 is a big light but it's still noticeably smaller and lighter than the Olight SR90
4.6A = 1500 LED Lumen
1500*5 = 7500 LED Lumen

My Impression of Stock X60:
- Look like a X40 blown up
- Would prefer stainless steel over factory aluminum bezel and control ring
- If you have very weak hands then the light will require two hand to hold the light and operate the clicky.
- I have very small hands and short fingers but I can operate this light fine one handed
- Balance weight in hand
- Odd internal rattling
- Included matching protected batteries are great to have and should be used with this light
- Very bright but the cool tint strains the eyes both outdoors and indoors
- Variable brightness is visually linear
- Typical Subeam overall quality. Similar to K40 and X40 and TN31. This mean much better than budget lights but not quite in the league of Eagletac, Zebralight, Fenix, Surefire...
- Magnetic charger works but weak. Will hold fine if the light is stationary or light movement while charging.
- Great quality carrier but just OK quality springs
- Box is similar to X40vn. Not very tough box but good enough to protect the light while transporting
- Large head helps with throw even though the light is multi-emitter
- LED sit on large copper heat sink but contact surface is rough. Generous amount of thermal paste though
- LED wiring are adequate for factory (About 3A) current transfer
X60vn Mods:
- XM-L2 Dedome (No burn in as I fear we might lose the low mode)
- Re-bond all LEDs to copper with high quality solder paste
- Added silicone wire to each carrier spring to lower resistance
- Current boost from from 3A per LED to 4.6A per LED
- 1" wide grip tape added to the end of the light for extra grip for one hand light operation
- Copper heat sink sanded down smooth for most contact surface and best heat transfer
- About 7500 LED lumen with practical throw similar to a K40vn but with abotu 4.5 times the lumen
- New larger LED wires to handle increased amperage more efficiently
- Very nice tint after the mod for both indoor and outdoor
- Touch up poor circuit connections and clean down with chemicals to remove factory solder balls

12/12/13 Updated Photos
It's really foggy outside today so I have to do the beam shotsindoor. Please ignore the TV my mom was watching. She is boss even if it's my house.
These photos are heavily underexposed as my living room is not that big.
From a practical real life perspective I think it's fair to say that the K40vn, ShockerVN, X60vn and all throw about the same but with different level of brightness.
The X60vn does throw better than the ShockerVN and the K40vn does throw better than both but the difference is not a big deal.
The X60vn is more impressive in real life than the photos suggest.
