I have found a few power supplies while digging through some old electronics, one of them from an electric razor has an output of 3.8v @ 80ma. Would this supply be safe to directly drive a single xml for a small lamp?

Also, if i were to use the power supply to power a dc led driver, would the current draw of the dc driver need to be lower than the PS? I would like to use it to run a 1x7135 if possible.

the XM-L is rated for 3 amps, so there's no reasonable chance that this little power supply could source enough current to hurt the LED. 4 or 5 5mm LEDs wired in parallel would probably be fine too.
