Clueless Noobie

Hello All, I am a complete first-timer at modifying lights. Well, I actually want to build a canister light for diving. I've read several of the threads on the forum, but need a little extra guidance.... It's amazing how much info is on here! I'm a Seattle guy, and if any of you are from around here and dive, you know how much a bright light helps out, even during the day. I'm hoping this first project turns out well so I can keep making lights for different applications, like underwater photo/video. Thank you in advance for all of your help!
