Mods, could you please move this to the Fixed Lighting forum? Thanks!

Thought some of you might find these interesting.
These are spectrums from a Gretag Macbeth i1 Spectrophotometer. The round graph on the right shows two spectrums. The thin black line is 'daylight', and the thicker red line is the bulb being measured. You can see color temp below that, and on the left, CRI. Ignore the illuminance, as I held the spectro varying distances from the light.

Very interesting!
Do you have access to some other LED based lights?
A nichia 219 one, a xm-l2 one...etc

I'd be quite curious to see some of those measured.

Mods may not always see your request within a thread, If you want a thread moved click the report button.

The report button is at the bottom left of each post. Click on it for the post you wish to report, and give your reason in the dialog box why you are reporting it. An e-mail is then automatically sent to moderators of that forum, and whoever is around will deal with it.

I've got a slew of LED flashlites... But members seem to require a, err, 'high' level of testing parameters. Haha. I'd just be inclined to point the light at the spectro, and take a measurement. The spectrum changes from hotspot to spill, so...
