I just purchased 5 CREE XP-G R5 leds and I have a couple power supplies. However, I'm not quite sure how to set up a circuit for the leds to make a desk lamp. I don't think I'll need more than two of them. Can I simply reduce to voltage in using a resistor and run it in parallel to the leds? Do I need a current stabilizer or heat-sink? Thank you in advance for your time and advice.
