Hey Guys
New to the forum and I was wondering if you guys could give me a little bit of help. I recently built a few LED light bars using Cree T6 LED's from DX for my truck.

But now I need some drivers for the lights. They're wired 3 in series, with there being 8 sets. So I need a driver that puts out ~3000ma, and runs off a power source of 12 - 14 volts. I was using this as a driver, but I really don't like the 3 modes part, and I don't have the proper tools for converting them to 1 mode where it is just full brightness. Plus I would need to buy more and they're sold out currently. So I was hoping to buy something new.

I found these new ones, specially the HBFlex but if I have to buy 8 of them, it's going to blow my budget way out of the water. And if I buy the H6Flex, I am not sure if the 6600ma would be too much output for the 6 T6's, and I'm still dropping ~200 bucks for 4 drivers.

So if anyone could give me any kind of direction as to what to do for a power source, it would be very helpful. I understand how LED's work and the concept and math behind them for the most part, but am no expert. So go easy on me please. Thanks.

It would help to know how and where you are going to use the light bar and where you plan to mount it.

Mainly for off road. We have a lot of trails and ice roads around here that it would be really helpful for as it gets dark at 5 in the winter here. And I'm planning on mounting them to my truck, right above the bumper. On my tests I realized how bright they are, and won't be using them for on road use. As they're just way to blinding. I have sealed units for the lights, but I was going to relocate the actual drivers to an enclosed watertight box under the hood to keep them out of danger. And easy access to change if the drivers ever die. And yes the LED's have a good heatsink.
