Here's the deal - It only works on "high-beam".
SureFire was kind enough to send me a replacement
(THANK YOU SF!).
This must be of some use to a modder out there. I would like
to give it to someone who would use it to make
a really outstanding mod. Does someone need one to further
the art and science of flash-a-holism?
Why do you want it?
What would you use it for?
If you can persuade me that you will put it to good use,
you may have it for the cost of shipping it to you
(anywhere on earth).
Please post your suggestions and pleas. I will decide who
the lucky "selectee" is on Sunday and ship it out next Monday.
Re: \"Free\" to good home - SureFire A2/L1 tailcap
Thanks for the generous donation to the CPF cause Lux!!! Very kind of you to do!
'Tis the season I suppose, right?
Anyway, I suppose I could dissect it to figure out the dual-stage set-up (and probably even fix it too). If it's already half broke, wouldn't hurt to try, right? No money lost anyway! I would bet money that it would come out of the surgery back in working condition, and maybe even have an upgrade or two! I would put it to work on my UBH II body for alternate low/high mode. Anyway, that's my pitch.
I'm surprised in the lack of postings here too.
I'm working on a 200 lumen Surefire E2. I have an L4 body, extra cell extender, and an E2C. I'm going to pickup a HA bezel for a C series & put in a P91 LA. If it only works in high mode that would be perfect for my needs.
Thanks for making the offer. It's a very nice thing to do.
