True story.
Nichia 219 series is renowned for excellent color rendition. I believe that Luminus still delivers the most flux from a single die/package. Bridgelux makes excellent arrays with good price/performance. Lumileds are generally regarded as being thermally and electronically more rugged than most. And of course Cree seems to hold the efficiency crown.
