what is the best battery for an Olight M3X?

The light came with Tenergy 18650 3.7v 2600 Mah I am running 2 in the light. I bought a Nitecore charger seperately. I'd like to know what's best for power as well as longevity. I THINK this light has over discharge circuitry. Is that correct?

Yes and go for 3400mah if possible for longer run times,stick with protected cells as your using 2.Not sure how cell fussy the olight m3x is,but the eagletac are one of the shortest 18650 protected cells(if not the shortest) .

Ok, will the light be brighter with a 2600mah than a 3400 with the same voltage? I know the 3400 last longer but does one make it brighter?

Brightness will be the same, run time will increase.
