Correct size tritium vial for Surefire A2/C2/M2/L1 belt clip?

so I saw on CPFMP where a guy installed a tritium vial on his A2 Aviator's belt clip. Does anyone know what size tritium vials work best on the Surefire belt clips for the L1/L2/M2/C2/C3/A2?

If I had to take a wild guess, I'd imagine B@rt's 1.55x5mm vials might be the ticket. Can anyone confirm? How about Merkava's or desther's 1.5mm x 6mm vials?

Did it some time ago. I'm 90% certain the vial was a 2x8mm. I'm 100% certain that was too wide and a touch too long - to install it I had to break one of the decorative metal loops. I reattached the broken loop right beside the vial using the same Norland I used to secure the trit. Unless I told you, you probably wouldn't notice, but it was definitely too large.

I would aim for a 1.5mm diameter vial no longer than 8mm. Should work fine. Good luck.
