Can you hook a DMX cable directly to a LED Strip?

Hi, I am working on a project that I'm having difficulties finding a good straightforward answer to. I found this product from ENTTECH:

I see that I can do a little programming with it to make software to control LEDs. So my question is can I go from My computer to this little box, then connect the DMX cable coming out of it directly to a strip of LEDs such as this:

If not, what extra equipment would I need to buy.

DMX is a serial data protocol. You would need a DMX decoder with an LED driver on board to decode the signal into a controllable current or voltage for the LEDs. That same company you are looking at also makes LED drivers that are DMX controlled.
