strange question, i know.

i am looking for an appropriate adhesive to glue my collimator to a luxeon star.

i thought i would use krazy glue to glue the collimator to the holder i created, and use the j-b weld to glue the collimator/holder assembly to the star.

comments???

It's not conductive. I've used it to pot pin sockets for 3 amp applications so I know it's good for that much.

Watch out for Cyanoacrylate glues ("super glue", "crazy glue", et al) in enclosed spaces though. It offgasses (sp?) while drying and could "fog" up your optics and lens...

Same with quick setting J-B Weld. use only the "regular" stuff.
