need advice on Hi discharge IMR 18350

Hi CPFers,

Noob here, just ordered a light that will draw 3.8A on turbo, need advice for hi drain IMR 18350s.

I have a nitecore D4 charger and quite a few Sony VTC5s, looking for equivalent in IMR18350

Personally I buy AW cells through Overready, super nice people there and AW batteries are solid as a rock. I just salvaged a bunch of random cells from laptop packs and have now realized how spoiled I've been with the AWs because I'm worried these things will vent at any moment, not so much with the AWs.

Sorry to ramble a bit it's early and I'm not well caffeinated.

I've used AW 18350s in several high drain applications and they have performed flawlessly.

My mistake, read 18650 and not 18350, lol.

I've had nothing but good results with AW IMR 18350s. Also, the purple eFest 18350 IMR cells are pretty good. I've run a Surefire MN21 bulb off 2x eFest 18350s with no problems - that pulls over 5Amps.
