Strip Light: High Voltage (220v/110v) vs Low Voltage (12v)

Hi,

I'm relatively new to LED lighting. Can someone please explain the difference and positives/negatives of high voltage strip light in comparison with low voltage strip light?

Hy, I have worked at a led lighting factory in Shenzhen more than 5 years,......
1) High power strip light 110V/230V will be more longer to 100M and work only one driver, save the cost of driver. suitable for outdoor lighting project. not enough safe than low voltage strip light, more heat and high work temp make the lifespan shorter.
2) low voltage strip light is short, 15M, used more drivers, the cost is high. it will be safe if installing in water and indoor. less heat, more longer lifespan, lower lummen drop.

the high voltage strip light will be cheaper.
