Recently received Archon 32650 batteries from Fang 2X Inc Amazon Marketplace, but they are not like the battery I expected. The 32650s I expected were black, clearly labelled "...with protection circuit." The batteries I received are grey, and do not carry the protection text.

Vendor says "Our this battery, lithium battery technology is strict adherence to production. Is the best quality. Please do not worry, please rest assured that use.
We battery have protection circuit. Please be assured that use."

How do I tell?

Extremely helpful! Would love to dissect the battery to find out for sure, but hoping for some sort of resolution, so for now, standing by for Amazon response.

I believe that I can see and feel the protection on all my batteries.
Here are some more (They are made for another article I am working on):

Well, the 32650 is exactly 65mm long, with no evidence of any longitudinal connection strip. Looks like I lose.

Thanks for your excellent guidance and information.
