I just received a Ku V10R Ti 18650 battery tube that I purchased over on the BST forums. Upon checking it out I tried a few 18650 batteries and was surprised that I had a lot of fitment issues. Here are the ones I tried and the issues:

Panasonic 2500mAh Hybrid button type - fits perfectly.
Keepower 3400 mAh - too wide to fit the battery tube.
EagleTac 3100mAh - fits tube width but is too long to screw down the head all the way.

Does anyone have experience with 3400mAh 18650 cells that will with this tube?

Thanks :)

Interesting. I was interested in buying several of those. As I mostly have Orbtronic/Panasonic I should be okay, although I suspect my AW IMR and ICR cells would fit too since they are not protected.

I also have four Voidhawks and they are slightly longer than the Orbtronics so those might not fit.

Just run some naked button type Samsung 25Rs and don't look back.

It's weird, since the Keeppower protected 3400s are 68.8mm long and 18.8mm wide and the ET 3100s are 68.2mm long and 18.5mm wide.

Obviously, neither will work.

ETs are some of the shortest protected 18650s, so you're just going to have to look here and figure out what works:
